Police are seeking the public’s help in finding two suspects wanted for a livery cab robbery that occurred earlier this month in Woodhaven.

According to authorities, at about 8:35 p.m. on Jan. 2, the two suspects got into a 2014 Toyota Camry livery cab near 87-08 Jamaica Ave. and were driven to a location on 85th Road.

There, police said, one of the suspects pulled out a stun gun and demanded that the 51-year-old male driver hand over money. His accomplice tried taking the driver’s property; the first suspect got hold of the driver’s cellphone.

Seconds later, the duo fled the cab on foot.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the scene; there were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a black male with long dreads who was wearing a hat and winter jacket. The second suspect is a male who was wearing a scarf over his face.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding this incident call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (800-577-8477), visit their website or text their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.

You think anyone will day anything? Nope... Why? He's black. The cab driver is most likely Indian and who cares. Sad reality but true.
