Ventura was killed on Friday after being hit by a cement truck.

A woman fatally struck by a cement truck in College Point last week resided only one block away from the scene of the accident, police reported.

Nancy Ventura, 61, was hit by the truck at College Point Boulevard and 15th Avenue on Friday sometime after 9 a.m. She had lived around the corner from the scene of the accident, in an apartment on 123rd Street.

Ventura was pronounced dead less than an hour later after being transported to Flushing’s New York Presbyterian Hospital with critical injuries.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
