Finback Brewery in Glendale is the place to be this weekend for anyone looking for unique crafts and some great local food and beer.

Michelle Cook-Lopez of Cook’s Crafts and Tom Wilk of Wilk Apiary will be hosting the Spring Food and Craft Market at Finback Brewery, located at 78-01 77th Ave. in Glendale, on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 1 to 6 p.m.

“We will have the tap room set up with tables,” said Basil Lee, one of the owners of Finback Brewery. “We invite local artisans, craft makers and food vendors to set up booths. We serve beer and people can see our brewery a little bit.”

The Spring Food and Craft Market will feature 15 vendors selling jewelry, clothing, beer, delicious food items and more.

“There is going to be so many different things to taste and you can try the beer from Finback during the market,” Cook-Lopez said. “The market will be filled with all local Queens businesspeople that are very creative that just want to share their creations with the public.”

The 15 vendors include Athena’s Wink, Bow Beanies More, Cook’s Crafts, Feels Like Butter, Finback Brewery, Jewdi Dysfunction, Leah’s Italian Apples, Made by Brandsford, Plachi Plushies, Pretzelmeister, SquirBird Handcrafts, Theobucket Vintage, Whimsical Art Shop, Wilk Apiary and Room 55.

“If people want to take a look at cool, local food, crafts and beer, it is a really fun time to do all those things in a relaxing atmosphere and support local makers,” Lee said. “I think it’s a fun day out. For us, it’s a great way for people to come out and see Glendale.”
