Police seek man who grabbed woman’s butt on 7 train

Police are asking for the public assistance in locating a man who groped a woman on a 7 train earlier this week.

On Feb. 1 at about 8:20 a.m., police said, the suspect grabbed a 27-year-old woman’s butt on a moving 7 train. When the victim confronted the suspect, he fled off of the train onto the 61 Street/Woodside station.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who is 40 to 45-years-old, approxmately 5 feet, 7 inches and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans, yellow work boots and a dark colored book bag.
