The incident happened shortly after midnight in this local eatery.

A man and woman eating in a late night sandwich spot were shot early Saturday morning in Woodhaven by a man who opened fire inside the establishment.

The male and female victims — who are age 40 and 32 — were inside Rico Chimi on Atlantic Avenue when an unknown suspect opened the eatery’s door and fired shots from outside at 12:28 a.m.

The male victim was shot in the left leg and groin, while the female was hit once in the left leg.

Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male standing at 5 foot 7 and 170 pounds.

The incident is still under investigation and there have been no arrests.

Find the perp. Send him back to Mexico or Central America. If he tries to cross the border again - SHOOT him.
