Group of four wanted for mugging and knocking out a man at a Ridgewood intersection

Police released on Sunday night images and a video of four individuals who allegedly beat down and robbed a 52-year-old man at a Ridgewood intersection last week.

The mugging took place at 9:48 p.m. on March 31 in the area of Putnam and Seneca avenues.

According to authorities, the suspects — two Hispanic males and two Hispanic females, all between 20 and 25 years old — approached the victim and punched and kicked him in the face and head numerous times.

The group then went through the man’s pockets and removed his belongings. During the attack, police said, the suspects knocked the man to the ground; he briefly lost consciousness.

Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. The victim was brought to Elmhurst Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police said one of the male suspects stands 5 foot 8 inches tall and has a tattoo on his right forearm. He was last observed wearing a light-colored hooded jacket, light-colored pants and a light-colored T-shirt. The other male perpetrator was last seen wearing a black and blue baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, beige pants and dark-colored sneakers.

One of the female suspects stands at 5 foot 5 inches tall with a tattoo on her left forearm and was last observed wearing a dark-colored dress and a white jacket. The other female suspect has long blonde hair and was last seen wearing a black knit cap, a black jacket, a black T-shirt, black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
