Want to know where your Queens neighborhood stacks up in terms of housing prices?

PropertyShark, a real estate data provider, compiled a list of the top 25 most expensive Queens neighborhoods from Jan. 1 through March 31. The data is based on residential properties including single-family homes, condos and co-ops sold between those dates.

Only neighborhoods with at least four transactions were included in this list. Last month, Queens was crowned the 12th most expensive neighborhood in North America, according to a study.

The neighborhood with the most expensive median sale price in the first quarter of 2016 was Malba, a subsection of Whitestone. The median sale price was $975,000, a 50 percent increase from the same time period in 2015.

The second most expensive neighborhood on the list was Kissena Park, an area bordered by downtown Flushing to the west and Fresh Meadows to the east. The median sale price jumped 36 percent from last year to $965,000.

Not surprisingly, the Hunters Point section of Long Island City sits in third place with 52 transactions made in the first quarter of 2016. The median sale price, $960,188, increased by 15 percent since last year.

Other neighborhoods that made the list include Flushing, Astoria, Bayside, Middle Village and Glendale.

Douglaston saw the biggest increase in median sale price from last year, with an 81 percent increase to bring the price to $642,500.

According to a spokesperson for PropertyShark, the notoriously pricey Forest Hills Gardens did not make the list because not enough transactions were completed in time.
