Zoe Saldana at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival

This movie star is moving on from her Queens roots.

Zoe Saldana, of “Avatar” and “Star Trek” fame, recently sold her two-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op in Kew Gardens, the New York Post reports.

The apartment is located in a 20-story building on Union Turnpike just off the Jackie Robinson Parkway. The 40-year old, doorman building is adjacent to Forest Park, just steps away from both the Kew Gardens LIRR stop and the Union Turnpike-Kew Gardens E and F line subway stop.

Saldana has a long history in Queens. She was born in New Jersey but spent much of her childhood growing up in Jackson Heights. Though she moved to the Dominican Republic with her mother when she was 9, she returned to Queens again for high school.

Saldana purchased the apartment in 2003 but has been living in Los Angeles with her husband and children for some time. The apartment went for $280,000, just slightly below the $290K listing price.
