Residents of Ozone Park have a brand-new place to pump some iron.

Blink Fitness, the premium-quality, value-based fitness club opened up their newest Queens location at 102-16 Liberty Ave. on April 15.

The newest Blink Fitness facility will provide customers with more than 80 pieces of top-of-the-line cardio equipment and 70 pieces of state-of-the-art strength training equipment, including free weights and all types of machines that work out the upper body, lower body and core. Certified personal trainers will be available for members who wish to create a custom workout experience tailored to their personal goals.

“We couldn’t be happier to open our doors in Ozone Park, our fourth location in Queens with a fifth coming soon in Woodside,” said Todd Magazine, Blink Fitness president. “We’re certain that the Ozone Park community will enjoy the premium experience we provide for an affordable price. All of our Blink locations in Queens have had such an overwhelmingly positive response and we’re thrilled to continue our growth in the borough.”

As a part of their grand opening celebration, Blink Fitness donated 50 one-year memberships, worth over $10,000, to Sheltering Arms, an organization this is dedicated to strengthening the education, well-being and development of vulnerable children, youth and families.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Blink Fitness to our Ozone Park community. Sheltering Arms has been serving families in Queens since 1831 and we have seen firsthand how physical wellness can transform a community and open up a world of possibilities for positive change,” said Elizabeth McCarthy, CEO of Sheltering Arms. “We’re grateful to Blink for being our partner as we invest in the Ozone Park community together. We know that Blink’s gym and donated memberships will result in a healthier future for all of us.”

Blink Fitness offers memberships for as low as $15 per month, with a free startup personal training session. The Ozone Park club hours are Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We are excited to bring our high-quality, friendly and affordable gym to Ozone Park,” said Quintana Clemente, Ozone Park club manager. “We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the community.”
