Middle Village was ready to rumble last Friday night as East Coast Pro Wrestling (ECPW) came into St. Margaret’s School to put on a show for professional wrestling fans of all ages.

The ECPW crew set up a ring in the center of the St. Margaret’s gymnasium, and before the show got underway, kids were invited into the ring to bounce off the ropes, climb the turnbuckles and see how it feels to be a professional wrestler.

Special guests included wrestling legend and hall of famer Tito Santana, who teamed with ECPW’s own Lou Nova to taken on the team of Ken Canada and Timothy Theory.

“It feels great to be here,” Santana said of his first time at St. Margaret’s. “It never gets old seeing the kids have a good time.”

This is the third time St. Margaret’s School held a wrestling event in their gymnasium to raise money for the school.

“It’s always a fun event for the kids,” said Dr. Philip Franco, principal at St. Margaret’s School. “So far the kids are having fun. We gear these events towards the kids. With the funds raised we are trying to upgrade the technology at the school.”
