Detectives ask for the public’s help in finding the man who recently robbed cash at gunpoint from a Dunkin’ Donuts shop in Woodhaven.

The stickup took place at 11 p.m. on April 24 inside the eatery located at 92-17 Jamaica Ave.

Police said the perpetrator — described as a Hispanic male standing 5 foot, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a mustache — walked into the location and displayed a firearm. He then removed $600 in cash from the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the incident; no injuries were reported.

The gunman was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish speakers, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
