Woman got robbed at knifepoint on Sunday morning in Sunnyside, police say

Police are looking for a man who robbed a woman in Sunnyside after threatening her with a knife.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on May 8, the suspect approached a 42-year-old woman walking at the intersection of 52 Street and Queens Boulevard. According to officials, he flashed his knife and took her purse, which contained an iPhone and $140 in cash.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18-and 25-years-old.
