A young man died of his injuries on Friday after being shot in St. Albans the previous day, police reported.

The 24-year-old, Lameak Williams, was shot at the corner of Grayson Street and 122nd Avenue on Thursday, May 19, at approximately 7:17 p.m. The victim received bullets to the abdomen and right leg, according to authorities.

Paramedics rushed the male to Jamaica Hospital, where he died of his injuries on Friday, May 20.

Williams, a Brooklyn resident, was with two individuals when the incident took place, law enforcement sources said. The shooting may have stemmed from a prior dispute, authorities noted.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
