Discuss the changing landscape of Long Island City at 3rd annual LIC Summit: Ideas and Impacts

Join city, state and local elected and government officials, along with business and civic leaders to discuss the changing landscape of Long Island City.

For the third year in a row, hundreds of professionals are gathering together in Long Island City for the LIC Summit: Ideas and Impacts, presented by LIC Partnership. This year the event will be co-hosted by Modern Spaces and The Queens Courier.

The summit will be taking place on Tuesday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Ave., LIC).

Panels will discuss recent developments in LIC, including how LIC is evolving as a fashion district, the changing workforce and the recent changes in the transit system. The event will also include a networking breakfast and lunch.

This year’s keynote speakers are Maria Torres-Springer of New York City Economic Development Corporation; Carl Weisbrod of NYC Department of City Planning & City Planning Commission; Kathryn Wylde of Partnership for New York City; and Howard Zemsky of Empire State Development & NY State Department of Economic Development.
