A man grabbed a woman's butt as she was jogging in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

A woman jogging through Flushing Meadows Corona Park was groped by a stranger earlier this week.

According to police, a 46-year-old woman was in the park on July 26 at 7:50 a.m. when a man grabbed her butt while she was exercising. The woman was near Jewel Avenue and the Grand Central Parkway when he approached her.

The suspect is described as a male, with an olive complexion, thin build and in his mid 20’s. He has long and wavy hair, facial hair, and was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt with white lettering.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
