Three crooks swipe $25,000 in cash from a Woodside restaurant wholesale provider

Police are looking for three men who, under the veil of the night, cut a hole in a window to enter a warehouse in Woodside and steal $25,000 in from a cash box.

On July 26 at about 2:20 a.m., three men, aged 40 to 50 years old, burglarized a location of Zahner’s Cash & Carry Foods at 62-35 30th Avenue, police reported. They entered the building of the restaurant wholesale provider through a side entrance by cutting a hole through a window. The men entered an office and took $25,000 in cash from a lock box and fled.

Surveillance footage captured the men in action.

Zahner’s Cash & Carry Foods were not available for a comment today.
