Men throw a brick into a shop window to steal a pair of luxury sunglasses in Jackson Heights

Two burglars threw shade at a Jackson Heights eyeglass store earlier this week by stealing a pair of high-end sunglasses, according to cops.

Police said the burglary occurred at 5:40 a.m. on August 2 inside Coco’s Vision Center at 83-06 37th St.

According to authorities, the two men broke the storefront window with a brick. One of the individuals acted as a lookout while the other individual stole pair of Oakley sunglasses from the store. The luxury sunglasses retail for several hundred dollars each.

The incident was reported to the 115th Precinct.
