A woman was groped as she walked her dog on a Jackson Heights street.

Police are looking for a man who forcibly grabbed a woman’s groin as she walked her dog on a Jackson Heights street.

The woman was walking on 85th Street and 37th Avenue on Aug. 25th at about 5:40 a.m. The suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her groin. He then fled the location in a white sedan toward 37th Avenue, police said.

The individual is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25- to 35-years-old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches and 150 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website  or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
