MTA worker cuffed on charges that he raped a woman inside his Queens home, cops say

A 50-year-old maintenance worker for the MTA is scheduled to appear in court Monday for arraignment on charges that he raped a 32-year-old woman in his southwestern Queens home.

Gregory Talley, 50, was arrested at about 5:15 a.m. Sunday morning at his home within the confines of the 106th Precinct, which serves Howard Beach, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park. Police did not disclose the address.

Law enforcement sources said that Talley allegedly sexually assaulted a 32-year-old woman inside the residence moments before police arrived on scene. The victim was known to Talley, but sources declined to reveal their relationship.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Following a preliminary investigation, Talley was taken into custody on charges of first-degree rape and sexual misconduct. Check with QNS later for additional details about the case.
