A man stole a safe with $5,000 from a children's event space in Woodside.

Police are looking for a man who stole a safe from a children’s event space in Woodside with approximately $5,000.

On Oct. 26 at approximately at 7:05 p.m., the suspect entered Sabrina’s Play Studio at 52-07 Queens Blvd. and stole the safe filled with cash. He then fled westbound on Queens Boulevard.

 

The suspect is described as a white male who is 40 to 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood, black jeans and a hat.

Security cameras captured the crook carrying the safe under his arm down the block.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
