The NYPD are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is wanted for shooting a woman in Ozone Park last month.

According to police sources, on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the individual in the video below approached the 29 year-old woman as she sat inside of a BMW X4 on 120th Street and discharged two rounds into the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The victim sustained a laceration during the incident and refused medical attention.

The suspect is described as being a black male, light skin, stocky build, with a beard. Video of the suspect before the incident can be found below.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
