An onlooker taking in the dazzling display in Whitestone.

One Whitestone family is lighting up the town in a big way for the holiday season.

Elizabeth Randazzo says her mother Maria and brother John have decorated their home at 169-16 24th Ave. for the holiday season for about 10 years now.

“Oh, they have everything,” Randazzo said. “Icicle lights, characters, Santas, snowmen, a countdown, bubble maker. You name it.”

Randazzo estimates it takes the duo about two weeks to fully deck out the home. Beloved characters Snoopy and Mickey Mouse can be seen lighting up the lawn, along with nutcracker soldiers, reindeer and an illuminated Nativity scene.

Be sure to visit in person for the full effect: the family plays a loop of Christmas songs outside to really get residents into the holiday spirit.
