Here's the variety of drugs that police picked up during a bust in South Ozone Park on Dec. 20.

He didn’t even bother trying to hide it.

An alleged drug dealer was busted in South Ozone Park this week with a stash of heroin and painkillers after police spotted him sitting in a car with marijuana on his lap, law enforcement sources said.

Richard Cosgrove, 21, of 142nd Street in Jamaica was picked up by the 106th Precinct Anti-Crime Team at 4:10 p.m. on Dec. 20 at the corner of Van Wyck Expressway and 115th Avenue.

According to authorities, police officers investigating illegal drug sales in the area allegedly spotted Cosgrove sitting behind the wheel of a red Ford vehicle. When they approached the car, police said, they observed an unknown quantity of marijuana on Cosgrove’s lap.

During a subsequent search, police found in Cosgrove’s possession 50 small bags believed to contain heroin as well as quantities of alprazolam (Xanax) and painkillers including oxycodone and suboxone.

Cosgrove was taken into custody at the scene and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Captain Brian Bohannon Jr., commanding officer of the 106th Precinct, took to Twitter to congratulate his officers on making the arrest.
