Flushing Bank location on 188th Street and Hollis Court Boulevard.

Flushing Bank has sold off another location in Flushing, but the branch isn’t closing anytime soon, according to the financial institution.

Flushing Financial Corporation, parent holding company of Flushing Bank, announced on Tuesday, Jan. 3, that the bank has sold the 188-08 Hollis Court Blvd. branch location.

The location will remain open until a new, “updated” branch location close to the current one is ready to be moved into, the release also said.

“This sale will afford us the flexibility to enhance the customer experience with modern branches that offer convenient access that aligns with the growth in the market,” said John R. Buran, president and chief executive officer of Flushing Financial Corporation.

Flushing Financial Corporation used Cushman & Wakefield to market the property, which is neighbored by a CVS Pharmacy and D’Alessandro Food Market. The branch location can be reached at 718-445-3351.

Flushing Bank serves consumers, businesses, professionals, corporate clients and public entities, offering deposit, loan and cash management services through 19 banking offices in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Nassau County.
