Police are searching for two individuals who spent Christmas Eve afternoon robbing a 26-year-old man at knifepoint in Flushing.
On Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at 2:45 p.m., the 26-year-old male victim was in the vicinity of 39th Avenue and 171st Street when he was approached by two individuals inside of a blue Nissan Versa. Acting like they were stranded and in need of help, authorities said, the perpetrators lured the victim inside of the vehicle.
Once inside, police noted, one of the perpetrators displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, handing over an undetermined amount of cash and a cellphone.
The suspects fled the location with the items.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s to 40 years of age, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds with a medium complexion and salt-and-pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans and black shoes.
The second perpetrator is described as a Hispanic female approximately 40 years old, standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds with blonde hair and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown coat.
