The new location of a commuter van stop in Flushing.

Downtown Flushing commuters should take note of a bus route change in the neighborhood.

As of Friday, Jan. 6, the commuter van stop on 41st Avenue and Main Street was relocated two blocks away. The new stop is on the north side of Sanford Avenue between Main Street and Frame Place. The new commuter van stop will be available for customer pick-ups and drop-offs until further notice.

The stop change was put into effect “to facilitate traffic safety and mobility during building construction” in the area, according to a release by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
