Cops are searching for an unidentified man who robbed two people on the E train in Queens

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed two different people on two separate occasions on the E train in Queens, within the confines of the 108th Precinct.

The first incident took place on Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3:00 a.m. An individual approached an 18-year-old male while on board a Manhattan-bound E train. The individual pulled out a knife and removed the victim’s iPhone. The individual fled the train in an unknown direction at the Northern Boulevard stop.

The second incident occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 4. At approximately 3:59 a.m., the individual, accompanied by another man, approached a 20-year-old male at the E train subway station at 23rd Street. The individuals punched the victim in the face and head and took his wallet which contained a debit card and a metrocard. They also took the victim’s phone charger before fleeing.

The individual has been described as a black male wearing a red du-rag. Police have released a video of the individual entering the subway.
