Man robs victim at gunpoint outside of her home in Queens Village

Police are searching for a sandal-wearing bandit who robbed a woman at gunpoint outside of her home in Queens Village.

At 1:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, an individual approached a 28-year-old woman outside of her home on 205th Place. The suspect grabbed the victim by the arm, held a gun to her head, and entered her home.

After the suspect demanded money and threatened to shoot the victim, he removed $3,000 in cash. He then took off in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male with facial hair, standing five feet, ten inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, and a black winter hat, and sandals with white socks.
