Gun-wielding crooks corner victim in an Astoria courtyard and steal his stuff: cops

Police are searching for a duo who are caught on tape robbing a man in a courtyard in Astoria.

At 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, two individuals approached a 39-year-old man in the courtyard of his residence in the vicinity of 34th Street and 35th Avenue. The suspects wielded a silver firearm to the victim, demanding his property.

The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene with the victim’s cell phone, wallet, and an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men with a dark complexion, between the ages of 20 and 25-years-old and standing between five feet, five inches and five feet, seven inches tall.
