Man takes off with iPhones after robbing a Jamaica store at gunpoint: cops

Police are on the hunt for a man who made off with two iPhones after robbing a Jamaica cell phone shop at gunpoint on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, on March 4 at 5:40 p.m., an unknown man entered a Metro PCS store located at 169-09 Hillside Ave. The man showed a black gun and demanded cell phones from the employee in the store.

The victim complied and handed over two iPhones to the gunman. After he took the phones, the suspect took off in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male with a mustache, standing five feet, nine inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
