A six-story apartment building with 10 units is in the process of being constructed in Astoria.

The site, located at 37-14 31st Ave., will have a 925-square-foot commercial space on the ground floor and 6,784 square feet of residential space, according to city documents.

Developer Vasilios Miliopoulos purchased the property in 2009 for $650,000, according to YIMBY. The facade, which is all white, stands out from the red brick apartments surrounding the property. Units will have balconies overlooking 31st Avenue and there will also be an outdoor rooftop.

Kambanis Architect is responsible for the design; construction is expected to be complete in September 2017.
