“All of me loves all of you” — and your luggage, too.

A Corona man has been charged for allegedly trying to take off with Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer and songwriter John Legend’s luggage last week.

According to charges, on Thursday, March 23, Legend — who wrote and sang the chart-topper “All of Me” — arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport from France and was leaving Terminal 4 with a black Louis Vuitton carry-on bag, which was on a luggage cart. The bag was left unattended momentarily and when someone went to retrieve the luggage, the cart was gone.

Security footage allegedly revealed that Agustin Hilario, 63, approached the cart and pushed it away from the area before taking the Louis Vuitton and fleeing the scene.

Port Authority police responded to the incident and identified Hilario on the security footage. They proceeded to contact him about the bag, to which Hilario allegedly said that he had planned to take the bag to the airport’s lost and found.

Hilario returned the bag, which alone is valued at $3,000, which contained Legend’s clothing and personal items, including including a pair of Cartier panther head cuff links with clear and green stones valued at $25,000.

Brown said, “The defendant is known to airport personnel and was quickly identified through surveillance camera footage by Port Authority Police, who then contacted the defendant about the missing bag. The defendant allegedly admitted to taking the designer bag, claiming it had been left unattended. The defendant is now facing serious charges.”

Hilario was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree attempted grand larceny. If convicted, Hilario faces up to seven years in prison.
