Here are 10 places where you can take your kids to hunt for Easter eggs in Queens

Grab your baskets and start hunting eggs — Easter is on its way!

As we head deeper in the Lenten season, Easter will be here before we know it. One of the best ways to celebrate is to send your kids on an Easter egg hunt, which have become a staple in many people’s Easter festivities.

Luckily, you don’t have to set up a hunt in your home or backyard. Here are 10 places in Queens where you can take your children to hunt for Easter eggs.

1. Green Meadows Farm (Alley Park), Springfield Boulevard and 76th Avenue, Oakland Gardens
Dates: April 8, 9 & 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets: $9

Get into the Easter spirit a little bit early at Green Meadows Farm in Oakland Gardens! For only $9, your child can hunt for eggs, ride the hay wagon slide, head into the fun house and take a picture with Whiskers the Easter Bunny. For an additional fee, you can head into the farm activities and feed the animals, take a pony ride and more!

2. Paul Raimonda Playground, Raimonda Park, Astoria
Date: April 8, noon to 2 p.m.
Tickets: Free

Head to the park and find those eggs! Kids who come to this Easter egg hunt will not only have the opportunity to hunt with other children, there is also face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny! Please bring your own basket or pail for egg gathering!

3. Queens Zoo, 53-51 111th St., Flushing Meadows Corona Gardens
Dates: April 15 & 16, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (while supplies last)
Tickets: Included in cost of General Admission

It’s time again for the Queens Zoo Spring Eggstravaganza! For the price of an admission ticket to the zoo, children can participate in the egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny and make crafts provided by the zoo. Due to the popularity of this event, the Queens Zoo recommends that you buy your tickets online and get there early so you won’t have to miss out on the fun!

4. OSNY Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, 92-14 63rd Dr., Rego Park
Date: April 15, 1 to 2 p.m.
Tickets: Free

Join Our Savior New York (OSNY) in an Easter egg hunt that the whole community can enjoy! The hunt will take place in two phases: one for pre-K through kindergarten followed by a hunt for first- through fifth-graders. The Easter Bunny will also be hopping by to meet all of the children at this event.

5. Queensbridge Boulders, 23-10 41st Ave., Long Island City
Date: April 15, 10 a.m. to noon
Tickets: $15

If you’re looking for something that’s not your traditional Easter egg hunt, head to Queensbridge Boulders for their 6th Annual Easter-Egg Hunt Climb! Hundred of eggs will be hidden on the climbing walls of their facilities, with raffles and prizes available to all climbers. This event is perfect for older children who don’t want to miss out on hunting for eggs.

6. Connection Church, Astoria Park, Ditmars/19th Street
Date: April 15, 10 a.m. to noon
Tickets: Free

Join Connection Church in their 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Children up to age 12 (including babies!) can hunt for eggs around the park while parents can enjoy the on-site coffee bar. Door prizes are also available for all participants!

7. Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Pkwy., Floral Park
Date: April 15, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets: $10 for all ages, free for Farm members

Queens County Farm Museum is gearing up for its Barnyard Egg Hunt! Head into the orchard for the egg hunt, get a photo-op with Whiskers the Easter Bunny, swing by the farm animals or try your hand at egg tossing or egg rolling games! Whatever you choose, you’ll be in for a great time! Tickets will not be sold at the door, so buy your tickets now!

8. Grace Ministries, 95-16 101st Ave., Ozone Park
Date: April 15, 1 to 4 p.m.

For those who are looking for more a religious experience paired with their Easter egg hunt, head to Grace Ministries in Ozone Park. Not only will your children be able to hunt for eggs, families can learn about the Easter story. Be sure to arrive by 1 p.m. so you can get the full experience.

9. Grace Gospel Tabernacle, 96-09 Springfield Blvd., Queens Village
Date: April 16, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tickets: Free

Grace Gospel Tabernacle hosts an egg hunt every year, so if you’ve been missing out, join in the fun! This event will bring a little bit of fun back into your Easter Sunday. Bring a friend; all are welcome at this wonderful Easter tradition.

10. Lewis H. Latimer House, 34-41 137th St., Flushing
Date: April 19, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Just when you thought the Easter fun was over, the Lewis H. Latimer House is hosting an Easter egg hunt on the following Wednesday! Bring your children (under the age of 11) to this historic house in Flushing to celebrate Easter in a stress-free environment.
