GRAPHIC CONTENT: SUV runs off the road and crashes into a pedestrian on an Astoria street

The day took a scary turn for one Astoria pedestrian when an SUV that ran off the road and slammed him into a building.

The New York Post first reported that early this morning a white Jeep Cherokee was caught on video accelerating as it pulled out of a parking spot, then running the victim into the wall of a medical imaging center on Steinway Street.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
