Charlie Thomas will be among the performers at the Flushing Rock n Roll Spectacular this weekend.

Some well-known rock ‘n’ rollers will head to a Flushing high school this Saturday night for an awesome evening of classic rock.

Presented by the Holy Cross Father’s Club, the April 22 Rock & Roll Spectacular is a fundraiser for Holy Cross High School, located at 26-20 Francis Lewis Blvd., and will be hosted by Dennis “Dion” Nardone of WVOX-AM.

The night will feature performances from musical acts including Ron Dante, original lead singer of The Archies, known for songs “Sugar Sugar” and “Jingle Tangle,” and the Charlie Thomas Drifters, famous for hits “Under the Boardwalk” and “Magic Moments.”

Also slated to perform are 1910 Fruitgum Company, Emily Stucchio & The Classics and Barbara Harris & The Toys.

The event will take place at the school at 7:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $45 each.

To purchase tickets or for more information, call John Wheelen at 718-279-0470 or Holy Cross High School’s main office at 718-886-7250, ext. 574.

The Holy Cross Fathers’ Club was founded in 1956 and works to assist the school in its mission of furthering the religious, educational, social and athletic lives of the students at the all-boys school.
