Cops are on the hunt for an unknown vandal who defaced an Islamic cultural center in Richmond Hill.

According to police, an unknown individual approached the Bosnian Islamic Cultural Center located at 114-07 91st Ave. at around midnight on Tuesday, April 6. The suspect proceeded to spray paint the letter “X” on multiple doors at the center.

The vandal is seen on video wearing a hood and a face covering, concealing their identity as they deface the Islamic cultural center.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
