Police are searching for two men who robbed a cellphone store at gunpoint in Flushing on Wednesday afternoon.

At 12:30 p.m. on April 19, law enforcement sources said, the two individuals entered a Metro PCS store located 162-08 Northern Blvd. One of the suspects acted as a lookout while the other individual pulled out a silver firearm to the employee at the store, demanding cash.

Authorities said the employee complied with the demand, handing over $200 to the crooks. The pair then fled the scene in a black SUV.

Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to a 911 call about the robber; there were no injuries.

Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30-years-old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. His accomplice is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30-years-old, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

Both men were last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black shoes.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
