While the kids are busy, you can grab a brew at the market’s All Queens Beer Garden, breathe deep and enjoy every second of Mother’s Day.

If you can’t make it Mother’s Day, then mark your calendars for some of the LIC Flea’s special events this season, including the Beer & Taco Get Down on June 10-11. You can get advanced tickets at www.licflea.com in order to enjoy unlimited craft beer tastings.

The LIC Flea & Food market is located at 5-25 46th Ave., near Fifth Street, in Long Island City, a short distance from the East River Ferry and the Court Square subway station. It’s open each Saturday and Sunday through October from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The market’s always looking for great vendors, and those who are interested in joining the market can apply online at www.licflea.com.
