The LIC Flea & Food Market is the place to be this Memorial Day weekend to enjoy some awesome eats and treats in the outdoors.

Take in the view of the Manhattan skyline along the Anabel Basin while sipping a cold brew from the All-Queens Beer Garden and enjoying fresh oysters from the shuckmasters at Speedy Oyster Shucksters; fried potato waffles and chicken from The Fried Kitchen; or lobster mac and cheese from An Artistic Taste.

If you need to be perked up, you can grab a cup of artisanal coffee from the LIC Flea’s newest vendor, the Brooklyn Coffee Company; it promises to be the freshest coffee you’ve ever had.

As always, the LIC Flea has plenty of unique vendors selling all kinds of goods you won’t find anywhere else. SEEDS offers handcrafted jewelry created by a group of Somali refugees who are also apprentice artisans who meticulously produce each piece by hand. You can also shop at Stevie, which offers boho chic garb perfect for celebrating summer.

Come to the LIC Flea this Saturday and you might also find yourself making a television cameo! HGTV will be back at the Flea to film another episode of its popular series “Flea Market Flip.” Stop by and pick up a one-of-a-kind piece for your home from contestants competing to sell their items.

The LIC Flea & Food Market is also thrilled to welcome back its sponsor, Koeppel Subaru. Now celebrating its 80th year of business, this local family operated auto group is incredibly charitable. Check out all the good they do at LoveOurNYC.com. Stop by the Koeppel Subaru booth and check out the latest model; learn more at www.koeppelsubaru.com.
