A Whitestone man was found dead in his apartment on Friday from an apparent drug overdose, authorities said.

At around 7:30 p.m. on June 2, Richard Delarosa, 26, was discovered by his aunt lying face up in his bed at his apartment on 19th Avenue near 168th Street, police said. EMS pronounced the man deceased at the scene from an apparent overdose.

A report by The Daily News said cops recovered several empty glassine envelopes typically used to hold drugs at the scene, though it was not immediately clear what was in them.

The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.
