Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that took place at a bar in Ozone Park early on Thursday morning.

At around 1 a.m. on July 13, officers from the 106th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed at Cookies Lounge, located at 132-08 Cross Bay Blvd.

Upon their arrival, they found John Savillo, 55, of 97th Street in Ozone Park with a stab wound in his torso.

EMS responded to the scene and transported Savillo to Jamaica Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
