Police are investigating the death of a man who was gunned down in Astoria early Sunday morning.

At 12:07 a.m. on July 16, a call of shots fired the Ravenswood Houses, located at 35-51 21st St. Upon their arrival, they found 26-year-old Terrell Smith with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

EMS responded to the scene and transported Smith to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
