Suspects caught on camera pepper-spraying a man and woman at a LIC subway station

Cops are looking for a duo who pepper-sprayed two passengers at a Long Island City subway station.

According to police, at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, a male and female, both aged 20, were on board a Manhattan-bound “N” Train at the Queensboro Plaza station when they were approached by two unknown men. While still on the train, one of the suspects stated that he was going to beat up the male passenger.

When the victims exited the train to the platform, the suspects followed and sprayed both victims with pepper spray.

Following the assault, the suspects fled the station to parts unknown. Both victims sustained minor injuries to face and arms and refused medical attention.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men between the ages of 16- and 18-years-old, one with a ponytail, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighing 170 pounds and the other with short black hair, standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds.

Shortly after the assault, the perpetrators were caught on surveillance cameras entering a Dunkin’ Donuts located at 1099 1st Ave. in Manhattan. During the time of the attack, both suspects were wearing shirts, but they took them off when they entered the Dunkin’ Donuts.
