Raincoat-wearing burglar wanted for stealing musical instruments from Corona church

Police are looking for a man who broke into a Corona church and stole musical instruments earlier this week.

According to police, at 2:25 a.m. on Aug. 15, an unknown man entered Canaan Baptist Church, located at 35-23 108th St., by unlocking the side door with an unknown object. Once inside, the suspect was caught on camera stealing $2,300 worth of musical instruments.

The burglar then fled the location in an unknown direction. The incident was reported to the 115th Precinct.

The suspect is described as a black man with a dark complexion and between the ages of 30 and 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a yellow raincoat and jeans.
