A seven-story development complete with a dance studio will be constructed in Astoria.

Located at 35-10 Astoria Blvd., the building currently houses Callina’s Dance School.  Astoria Boulevard LLC wants to build a 52,720-square-foot building with a 2,800-square-foot dance studio, YIMBY first reported.

A total of 36 units are planned and 20 percent would be slated for affordable housing. According to the architects for the project, ARC Architecture + Design Studio, 13 of the units would be condominiums.

The project would include indoor and outdoor recreation space and a roof deck. Residents would also have access to 13 parking spots.

The building would need to be rezoned to allow for the mixed-use project and it is expected to be completed by 2020.
