Police are looking for a male suspect (inset) who allegedly assaulted a man at the pictured location.

A heated exchange of words escalated into a violent clash in Flushing earlier this summer, according to cops.

On June 7 at around 8:50 p.m., two male individuals inside a home at Main Street and Cherry Avenue were engaged in a verbal argument when the suspect hit a 45-year-old victim over the head with a glass bottle and threw hot water on him.

Upon contacting authorities, the victim was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital with second-degree burns; his injuries, however, were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect fled the residence in an unknown direction. Police could not provide details on whose residence the altercation took place in or the details of the dispute.

Police described the suspect as an Asian male in his 30s with a bald head. He was last seen wearing a red shirt.  Photos of the suspect can be seen below.

The incident was reported to the 109th Precinct.
