The 104th Precinct released on Monday an image of a male allegedly linked to numerous recent bicycle thefts inside of Middle Village’s Juniper Valley Park.

Detectives want to talk to Andrew Barros, age and residence unknown, for his role in “a series of bike removals” inside of the park. Barros was identified through an interview on Sept. 27.

According to law enforcement sources, Barros and between 6 and 7 other unidentified individuals typically approach a bike-riding victim, ask a series of questions and the steal the bike, fleeing to parts unknown.

The 104th Precinct Detective Squad is investigating the pattern, with Detective James Fleming assigned to the case.

Anyone with information regarding the bicycle thefts or Barros’ whereabouts is urged to call Detective Fleming at 718-386-3004 or Detective Borough Queens North at 718-520-9200. All calls are kept confidential.
