Police are looking for a group of men who assaulted and robbed three men on the streets of Elmhurst.

According to police, at 3:20 a.m. on Oct. 14, a 45-year-old man was approached from behind by two unidentified men in front of 42-27 Ithaca St. After approaching the man, the suspects grabbed the victim, punched him and took his backpack, which contained two cell phones and $200.

Following the attack, the suspects fled on foot. The were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Later that same day at 11 p.m., a 30-year-old man was approached from behind by four unidentified men outside of a residence on Alstyne Avenue near Junction Boulevard. After approaching the victim from behind, the suspects punched him in the head, back and face and took an iPhone 7 and $40 from the victim.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim refused any medical treatment.

Three days later on Oct. 17, the three suspects approached a 60-year-old man in front of a home on Ketcham Street near Elmhurst Avenue. After approaching him from behind, the three unidentified males put the victim in a headlock, punched him in the face and took his Samsung Galaxy 6 and $15. The crooks then fled the scene in a black four-door sedan.

The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for a bruising to the right side of his face and a nose bleed.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects, first showing them at a grocery/bodega in the vicinity of Broadway and Britton Avenue just prior to the third incident. The footage later shows the suspects in the immediate vicinity of the third incident immediately before it took place.
