Police are investigating the death of a man who crashed his motorcycle in Richmond Hill on Sunday.

At 7:13 p.m. on Nov. 12, police responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision at 131 Street and Atlantic Avenue. Upon their arrival, they found Kristian Ramnath, 23, at the scene.

EMS responded to the scene and transported Ramnath to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation found that Ramnath was operating a motorcycle westbound on Atlantic Avenue at 131 Street when he lost control of the motorcycle, struck a median and became separated from the motorcycle. The investigation is ongoing by the NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad.
