Help a neighbor in need stay warm this winter by donating to a coat drive with drop-off locations throughout Queens.
New York Cares is collecting new or gently used coats at every police precinct in Queens as well as a number of other locations:

The drive will run until Dec. 29.
New York Cares will drop of the collected coats to the city’s homeless shelters, community organizations and groups, who will then distribute the coats to those in need.
Drop-off sites will only accept donations of two large bags or less. Any donation larger than two bags must be dropped off directly at the Coat Drive Warehouse, located at 157 West 31st St. between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in Manhattan. The organization’s coat drive has run annually for 29 years and collected and distributed 1.7 million winter coats to date.
